for the Glitter
STEP 1. open animation shop, and psp.
STEP 2. open your glitter fill in animation shop.
STEP 3. Left click on the first frame, then click on
control and A at the same time, this will select all the frames, then right
click on thatfirst frame and select EXPORT FRAMES TO PAINT SHOP PRO, it
will send you and the glitter fill back to psp.
STEP 4. open a
new image, 300x200 trasnparent backgnd.
STEP 5. click on
your text tool, select STANDARD TEXT, nulling all boxes EXCEPT the bottom box in
the STYLES selection called FILL. Select your font, a thick font works
best, and your font size 72. Make sure FLOATING and ANTIALIAS are checked. The
color does not matter, type your name, then click OK. The ants will be
marching.
STEP 6. Now because your glitter fill has 3 frames to it,
we need to make 3 EXACT copies of your text, so hit SHIFT then D, two times, so
that you will have 3 windows with your name in ants. From this point on,
do NOT change anything on these text boxes. Line them up in a row. You
need to be able to click on your glitter, your text windows, and your layer
pallet during this part, so arrange them so that you are able to do that,
without moving them, or you might mix them up. This is how I keep mine,
just as an example.
STEP
7.
Now go to your color pallet. Null all the boxes EXCEPT the top box
in the STYLES selection, and set that to pattern.
STEP 8. Now
click on the top bar in your glitter fill, to make it active. Go to your
layer pallet and you will have 3 layers. If you do not see your layer
pallet, click on the letter L on your keyboard, it will pop up. Now click
on the glasses on frames 2 and 3, there will be red X's on those glasses now,
which will hide those layers, you will now be working with layer 1.
STEP 9. Now as you work with these layers of glitter, pay
attention to the pattern in them. The sparkles are in different places in
each frame, that will help you keep track of which one you are using. In most of
the 3 frame glitters, the first layer of glitter you use, will have the large
white stars on the left. The second layer of glitter will have the large
white stars on the right. The last layer of glitter has no large white
stars. Go to your color pallet, and click on the pattern box, and
scroll up in the selection box, until you find your first glitter layer, click
on it, then click ok. Now go to your flood fill tool, and use these
settings:
BLEND MODE normal
MATCH MODE none
STEP 10. Now go
to your first image window with your name in it. Click on the top bar to
to activate it, your ants will come back, then floodfill with the glitter.
Go to SELECTIONS/SELECT NONE. Your ants will be gone. Go to
SAVE AS, and name this one glitter 1, save as PSP, in a folder
that you will remember where it is.
STEP 11. Go back
to your glitter fill, and click on the top bar again, to activate it. Now
we will go back to the layer pallet, and click on the glasses on layer 1 to hide
that layer, then click on the glasses on layer 2, the red x will be removed, now
this layer will be unhidden and we will fill this one.
STEP
12. go to your COLOR PALLET, and click on the glittered
styles box, scroll up until you find the glitterfill that matches the one on you
are looking at, it will probably be in the upper right. Click on that, then
click ok. Now floodfill the second name. Go to SELECTIONS/SELECT
NONE. The ants are gone. Go to SAVE AS/PSP, as GLITTER 2, in
that same folder.
STEP 13. Click on your glitterfill, to make it
active. Go to your LAYER PALLET, and click on the glasses on layer
2, you will get a red X, this will hide that layer, then click on the glasses on
layer 3, to unhide this layer.
Step 14. Go to your
color pallet, and click on the glitterfill, then scroll until you find this last
layer, click on it, then click ok. Floodfill your last layer, then go to
SELECTIONS/SELECT NONE. Your ants are gone. Go t SAVE AS/PSP. name it
GLITTER 3 in that same folder with the other 2.
Step 15. Now it
is time to go back to ANIMATION SHOP. Do not close psp . When you get
there, right click on the glitter, and select BREAK LINK WITH EXPORTED FRAMES.
Then close the glitter.
STEP 16. Go up to the
toolbar, and click on the ANIMATION WIZARD. it should be up in the top left of
your toolbar.
At this point you will have to be looking at your tut. Make
sure your settings match mine, you will go through 4 windows.
The FIRST
WINDOW should have these settings:
2ND WINDOW:
THE THIRD WINDOW:
THE FOURTH WINDOW:
STEP 17. Now we will line up the frames we made, so click
on ADD IMAGE, scroll until you find the folder they are in, then double click on
GLITTER 1.
Click on ADD IMAGE, again, and double click on GLITTER 2.
Click on ADD IMAGE, again, and double click on GLITTER 3.
Click
on NEXT, and then FINISH.
STEP 18. You now should
have your 3 glitter frames lined up in front of you. Now go up to VIEW
ANIMAITON, it is on the top right of the toolbar.
and click on it.
Your animation will now be working in front of you. You may want to change
the speed on it, depending on what yours is set at. If it is not twinkling
fast, like glitter, the close the working animation, but not the 3 frames in
front of you. Click on the first frame, let up, then click on control and
A at the same time, this selects all of the frames, because you want them all to
run at the same speed. Now RIGHT CLICK in the first frame, and select
FRAME PROPERTIES. A speed control box will come up. Remember, the
higher the number in this box, the slower the animation will run. I set
mine to 10. Click ok.
Now go back up to the VIEW ANIMATION, and
click it again. It should look like sparkly glitter now.
STEP 19. Now you need to save this as a GIF. While
the gif is running, go up to FILE/SAVE AS, and select where you are going
to save it, name it, and save it as a GIF. To insert it into your
email, use the little camera on your email toolbar.
YOU ARE DONE!!!
